Another Easter holiday four day, partially supported, mini-tour extending last year's London - Paris trip onto Geneva.
Once again the weather was still what you might expect in April, with the added bonus of snow and freezing rain in the Jura region, but at least last year's constant headwind had subsided into a mere crosswind.
Having recently acquired phone with a 2MP camera, that had performed quite well while out on my bike prior to this trip, I was keen to utilise it for the tour's picture taking duties. However, as you can probably see from the pictures opposite, it was found wanting when used in earnest and I will be reverting back to my trusty Canon IXUS 400 for future tours.
Another lesson learned is that supported tours are pants for both supporter and supportee. This was my second (and last) supported tour, if you are considering a similar event you might want to read why.
These lessons aside it was still a pleasant trip with some new personal achievements, not least of which were my first ever Cols!
